Your treatment takes place on a semi-private bed, where a prescribing nurse prepares and administers the injection into the muscle.

Before any treatment, you will have a consultation with a qualified prescribing nurse to assess suitability.

This includes a review of your medical history and, where appropriate, baseline assessments.

You will also be given clear information about the treatment and any potential risks or side effects so you can make an informed decision.

Biowell IM Wellness Injections

NAD+ – £120

NAD+ is a naturally occurring coenzyme involved in normal cellular energy processes. It is sometimes explored as part of a broader wellbeing approach, following suitability assessment.

Ingredients: NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) 60mg.

Advanced Nutrients – £75

Advanced nutrients is a vitamin B complex wellness injection containing nutrients involved in normal energy-yielding metabolism and nervous system function. Offered following consultation and suitability assessment.

Ingredients: Vitamin B1 (Thiamine-HCL), Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin-5-Phosphate), Vitamin B3 (Nicotinamide), Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine-HCL).

Glutathione – £95

Glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant found in the body and involved in normal cellular processes. Glutathione injections are offered at Biowell Health following consultation and suitability assessment.

Ingredients: Glutathione (150mg).

Vitamin D3 – £95

Vitamin D3 is often referred to as the sunshine vitamin and contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth. It also contributes to normal absorption and utilisation of calcium. Vitamin D3 injections at Biowell Health are offered following consultation and suitability assessment.

Vitamin B12 – £55

Vitamin B12 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal nervous system function. It also contributes to normal red blood cell formation. Vitamin B12 injections are offered at Biowell Health following consultation and suitability assessment.

Hair Health – £65

FAQs on IM Wellness Injections

What should I wear?

It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothing. Ideally, you should have a top that allows access to your arm.

What is the therapy like, and is it uncomfortable?

The initial needle insertion is slightly uncomfortable, but overall, it is a relaxing experience.

How long is the therapy?

IM Wellness Injections are significantly quicker than IV Drips, like having a vaccination shot at your doctor’s!

What can I expect after having the therapy?

Every client is an individual, and it is not possible to determine in advance how your system will exactly react to the supplements you need. Some patients report feeling energised and more alert soon after their IV or IM, while others feel fatigued, experience headaches, and have flu-like symptoms for the first 24 – 48 hours after treatment because their liver is undergoing a “detoxification” effect. These patients may require 2 – 3 IV sessions before they start to feel energised. It is sometimes necessary to adjust your program as you proceed, until your body can begin to properly absorb the nutrients required to rebalance any imbalances. It is your responsibility to do your part by following healthy dietary guidelines, exercising when possible, and getting plenty of rest.

Smokers may experience an unpleasant “metal” taste in their mouth due to heavy metal chelation by Vitamin C, glutathione and certain amino acids.

Can I have IV or IM Shots with a separate condition?

If you suffer from a medical or pathological condition, you need to consult with an appropriate healthcare provider, such as your GP or Consultant. If you are under the care of another healthcare provider, it is important that you inform them of your use of nutritional supplements. Nutritional therapy may be a beneficial adjunct to more traditional care, and it may also alter your need for medication. It is important that you always keep your physician informed of changes in your nutritional program.

How many treatments can I have?

There are no restrictions on the number of IM Wellness Injections or IV Infusion Drips you can have, but it is recommended that ongoing, regular IVs or IM Shots will have the greatest benefit for your health.

It is advised that ongoing regular therapy will help support optimisation and maintain the benefits through treatments. We recommend at least 1 infusion per month with IM Wellness Injections to top you up and maximise your benefit.

Can this be combined with other therapies?

Definitely. We advise combining therapies (bio-stacking) to improve results and achieve greater optimisation. We also advise that when you commence your optimisation journey with us, you have Compression Therapy in the first instance to prepare the body to derive maximum benefit from each individual therapy.

Who can have IM Wellness Injections?

We can only offer IM Wellness Injections to patients above 18 years of age. We cannot offer IV Drips or IM Wellness Injections to pregnant or breastfeeding women.
