How we got here
Biowell Health began with a personal challenge that inspired a vision for a healthcare revolution. Former professional rugby player, Peter Scrivener, faced debilitating effects of long COVID. Struggling with chronic fatigue and significant muscle loss, Peter found himself searching for solutions beyond traditional healthcare.
Introduced to advanced therapies such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Peter began to explore the benefits from focusing on his health at a cellular level.
Together with James Stanley, Peter turned a recovery journey into a mission to make these innovative therapies accessible to a broader audience, and create a new standard in personalised, science-driven healthcare.
Who we are
Biowell was started by two people who came at the same problem from opposite ends, one from running consumer businesses, one from having to rebuild his own health.

Our Ambition
Our first ambition is to become the UK's leading health optimisation platform. We think the way to get there is structural rather than promotional: organise everything around customer goals rather than a catalogue of therapies.
That starts with holding ourselves to the highest standards of quality across everything we do, and it means playing a part in shaping where the industry goes next, not just keeping pace with it — growing, in the UK and internationally, as we do.
We want to make Biowell accessible to as many people as possible, so that more people can achieve real health outcomes. And in every interaction, we aim to deliver best-in-class experiences, thinking and execution — genuine value for every customer, every time. Our ambitions don't stop there as we have many further plans in the work.
