Our approach
The Biowell approach
Menopause is not one problem with one answer. The symptoms that bother you most are rarely the ones that bother someone else, so a single protocol applied to everyone tends to disappoint.
Our approach starts with a conversation and a baseline. We look at how you are sleeping, how you are recovering, and where your energy is going. From there we recommend a small number of therapies that address your specific pattern, and we review whether they are working rather than assuming they are.
Most people begin with a combination of recovery and circulation-focused therapies alongside lifestyle and nutrition guidance. Where advanced diagnostics would genuinely change the plan, we will say so.
Recommended therapies
Where most people start
These are the therapies we most often recommend for this goal. Your consultation decides which of them actually apply to you.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Breathing oxygen at increased pressure in a comfortable chamber, to support recovery, repair and cognitive clarity. Sessions are quiet, still and surprisingly restful.

PEMF Therapy
Pulsed electromagnetic fields applied through a mat, explored for recovery, circulation and sleep quality.

IV Infusion Drips
Vitamins and minerals delivered directly into the bloodstream, prescribed to your needs rather than chosen from a menu.

Red Light Therapy
Low-level red and near-infrared light, explored for skin, recovery and sleep. A passive session you can fit into a lunch break.
Evidence
What the science does and does not say
We are explicit about where evidence is stronger and where it is still emerging.
Thermal therapy and sleep quality
Regular heat exposure before bed is associated with faster sleep onset and improved subjective sleep quality in midlife adults. Effects vary between individuals and are strongest when paired with consistent sleep timing.
Recovery, inflammation and joint comfort
Therapies that support circulation and recovery are commonly explored for the joint discomfort reported during menopause. Evidence quality varies by therapy, and we are explicit about where it is stronger and weaker.
Programme
A structured route through it
Programmes combine the therapies above into a plan with a review point built in.

Waking repeatedly through the nightSave £204
Sleep Programme
A programme designed to support sleep: restoring circadian rhythm and elevating sleep quality.
Sleep+A Myers Cocktail to support sleep, thanks to the magnesium in the infusion.

Advanced testing with VIVR
Where deeper diagnostics would genuinely change your plan for menopause, our testing partner VIVR can provide them.

FAQs
Questions we get asked
No. We do not prescribe or replace HRT, and we would never suggest you stop a treatment your GP or specialist has prescribed. What we offer sits alongside your medical care, focused on sleep, recovery, energy and comfort. If HRT is something you want to discuss, that is a conversation for your GP or a menopause specialist, and we are happy to say so.
It varies by symptom. Sleep is often the first thing people notice, sometimes within two to three weeks. Energy and joint comfort usually take longer, closer to six weeks. If nothing has changed by the halfway review, we would rather change the plan than carry on for the sake of finishing the course.
It varies considerably, and we try to be straight about that. Some therapies have a solid research base for specific uses; others are promising but early. We will tell you which is which for the therapies we recommend to you, and we will not overstate what the research supports.
For individual recovery therapies such as the sauna, compression or red light, you can book directly. For anything clinical — IV therapy, HBOT courses, or any programme — we ask for a consultation first so we can check it is appropriate for you.
