Overview
What Red Light Therapy is
Red Light Therapy exposes the body to specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light at low intensity.
What it involves
Your session, step by step
Before you start
Sessions are short and passive. Eye protection is provided. Results, where they occur, build over a course rather than a single visit.
Step 1 of 2During the session
You stand or lie in front of a panel array for the session length we recommend. There is no heat and nothing to feel beyond the light itself.

This therapy is often part of
Most people arrive with a goal rather than a therapy in mind. These are the ones this sits inside.

Skin health
Skin responds to sleep, stress, circulation and hormones. Treating it in isolation tends to give short-lived results.
- 8 weeks
- From £85 per session

Sleep
Getting eight hours and still waking up tired is a different problem from not being able to fall asleep. We start by working out which one you have.
- 6 weeks
- From £85 per session

Healthy ageing
Healthy ageing is less about adding years and more about keeping the things you can do now — mobility, energy, clarity and recovery.
- 12 weeks
- From £95 per session

Fertility
Whether you are preparing to conceive or already in treatment, we focus on the things that support you alongside your clinical care — recovery, stress load, circulation and sleep.
- From £95 per session
- Consultation

Menopause
Perimenopause and menopause affect sleep, energy, mood, joints and skin all at once. We start by understanding which of those matter most to you, then build a plan around them.
- 6 to 12 weeks
- From £95 per session

Questions
Red Light Therapy, answered
What the evidence supports, and what it does not.
It depends what you are using it for. Recovery from a specific injury is often a shorter, more intensive block; general support is usually a longer, less frequent pattern. We give you an honest estimate at your induction rather than selling you a fixed package before we know your situation.
It varies considerably, and we try to be straight about that. Some therapies have a solid research base for specific uses; others are promising but early. We will tell you which is which for the therapies we recommend to you, and we will not overstate what the research supports.
To maximise the benefit, the red light is emitted directly to the skin, so in most cases, you will remove all items of clothing. Therefore, you can wear whatever you would like and then undress in the private room where your therapy will be received.
The therapy is non-invasive and really relaxing. The light is warm but not hot and it is very comfortable. You may feel so relaxed that you close your eyes whilst enjoying the therapy.
We have many general and specific therapies that range in length between 15 and 30 mins.
Our therapies are expertly programmed with specific outcomes and designed to meet individual needs. All you need to do is select your treatment length when booking and one of our health optimisers will help you when with us.
There are no restrictions on the number of treatments that you can have, but it is recommended that multiple sessions will have the greatest effect.
It is advised that ongoing regular use will help support optimisation and maintain the benefits through treatments. We recommend at least two therapies per week for maximum benefit.
Definitely. We advise combining therapies (bio-stacking) to advance results and achieve the greatest optimisation. We also advise that when you commence your optimisation journey with us you have Compression Therapy in the first instance to prepare the body to derive maximum benefit from each individual therapy.
Absolutely, there are no side effects during pregnancy. If you have any general concerns with your pregnancy, you should consult your medical advisor before receiving any therapy.
No, it is particularly good for them. Our eyes are very dense with mitochondria, and they benefit from PBM, just like the rest of the body's cells. Therefore, there is no need for eye protection.
If you have any condition with photosensitivity, malignant lesions or medication that makes you photosensitive, you should not use red light therapy. If you are unsure, you should seek medical advice before booking. Additionally, you should not use Red Light Therapy with new tattoos as the irradiance setting may cause pain as the dye absorbs the light.
