Support for joints and arthritis
Living with arthritis means managing pain, stiffness and inflammation day to day, often around medication and appointments that are already part of your routine. We focus on the therapies that support comfort, circulation and function alongside that care — not instead of it.

Common concerns
What people come to us with for arthritis
- Joint pain and stiffness, especially first thing in the morning
- Pain and swelling that limits what you can do day to day
- Wanting options alongside medication, not instead of it
- Concern about mobility or joint damage progressing over time
Our approach
The Biowell approach
We work alongside your GP, rheumatologist or physiotherapist, not instead of them. Our therapies focus on circulation, inflammation and comfort — supporting the joint, rather than attempting to treat the underlying condition.\n\nWe do not diagnose or treat arthritis, including rheumatoid or other autoimmune forms, and we will never suggest stopping or changing a medication your specialist has prescribed — including DMARDs or biologics. If something you tell us sounds like it needs medical attention, we'll say so.\n\nThis goal pairs closely with Bone Health and Pain management — many people are managing joint and bone concerns together, and a consultation will help work out where to start.
Recommended therapies
Where most people start
These are the therapies we most often recommend for this goal. Your consultation decides which of them actually apply to you.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Breathing oxygen at increased pressure in a comfortable chamber, to support recovery, repair and cognitive clarity. Sessions are quiet, still and surprisingly restful.

Compression Therapy
Sequential pneumatic compression to support circulation and reduce swelling. Sit back for half an hour and let it work.

Red Light Therapy
Low-level red and near-infrared light, explored for skin, recovery and sleep. A passive session you can fit into a lunch break.

Cryotherapy
Three minutes of extreme dry cold to support recovery, reduce soreness and leave you noticeably alert.
FAQs
Questions we get asked
For individual recovery therapies such as the sauna, compression or red light, you can book directly. For anything clinical — IV therapy, HBOT courses, or any programme — we ask for a consultation first so we can check it is appropriate for you.
